Hold My Hand, The Sky Is Doing That Thing Again

The Long Walk to the Feb 17th Eclipse & How Not To Give Up Half-Way Through

“Transition is not pretty, but stagnation is hideous.” - Nikki Rowe

Pour whatever gets you through this part of the timeline. Tea, wine, magnesium, a cigarette you swore you quit. Light something. Sit down. This is one of those weeks where the sky is clearly clearing its throat before saying something important.

This is a check-in, not a forecast meant to scare you. A conversation about what’s shifting, why it matters, and how to move through it with a little more awareness and a lot less self-blame.

We are officially in that stretch of time astrologers warn you about with a knowing highly punchable smirk and a very large glass of wine. We are on that dreaded lead up to the dreaded eclipse on February 17, followed almost immediately on the 20th by the most momentous and volatile transit of the year as Saturn and Neptune meet at zero degrees of Aries.

Cue in a week where things start to show their teeth. The part of the movie where the music drops out and everyone in the room knows something big is about to happen, but no one agrees on what or who it is going to hit. That is the vibe.

Globally, we are watching institutions wobble, leaders double down on deeply unserious behavior while insisting it is all under control. It is the same old empire bullshit, but louder, sloppier, and with more diapers and fewer adults in the room.

Personally, this stretch tends to feel like being halfway across a bridge you did not realize was suspended until the wind picked up. Old plans stop feeling reliable. People you rely on for holding you through the chaos spin out in their own existential drama pirouettes.

We start with Uranus turning direct in Taurus, shaking loose what’s been stuck financially, materially, emotionally. We move through emotionally weird lunar weather that pokes at denial and control issues (shocker). Mercury and Venus slide into Pisces, dissolving certainty and sharpening intuition at the same time. Saturn crosses into Aries, beginning a brand-new cycle of responsibility and consequence (about time!). And by Sunday, the Moon meets Pluto in Aquarius, giving us a preview of the emotional landscape we’re heading into once the eclipse hits.

This week matters because it is one of the last coherent chapters before eclipse season really takes the wheel. It offers information. Signals. A few reality checks. Some uncomfortable clarity. And, occasionally, unexpected relief.

Day by Day: The Stops Along the Bridge

February 4

Uranus Direct in Taurus
Moon in Virgo Trine Uranus

The stops along the bridge begin on February 4 - Uranus just turned direct at 27 degrees of Taurus and the Moon in Virgo trines it today. Did you feel the shift? Something that has been stalled, delayed or quietly rotting behind the scenes starts moving again.

Below, in the members-only section, we’ll look at exactly which part of your life this retrograde shaped and unlocked for further inspection & where are we heading with this whole Uranian evolution-through-commotion business come April, when Uranus enters Gemini.

If you have felt like progress was being blocked by invisible hands, this is the release valve cracking open. The Moon in Virgo trining Uranus makes this feel oddly practical. Solutions appear. A plan adjusts. You realize you can fix something that has been driving you insane.

This can feel like finally finding the receipt you need for that tax refund or realizing the reason your body has been acting weird is incredibly obvious once you stop ignoring it. Looking ahead, this also gives us a preview of what happens when Uranus enters Gemini at the end of April 2026. This will be less about material security and more about information, language, technology and how fast reality itself moves. I fully expect extraterrestrial disclosure at this point, quote me on this.

February 5

Moon in Libra Opposite Neptune, Square Uranus

On Thursday, the Moon in Libra opposes Neptune in Aries and squares Uranus in Taurus. This is a weird one. Emotionally slippery. Interpersonally awkward. The Moon in Libra wants harmony and adult conversation, but Neptune in Aries says I feel something and I do not know what it is but now it is your problem, so set some shit on fire just because. This is the vibe of your mother in law showing up unannounced while you are mid breakdown in a stained bathrobe. It smells like emotional inconvenience, deafening white noise in places where you’ve been accommodating something deeply unsustainable just to keep the peace.

February 5

Mercury enters Pisces

And shifts how we think, speak and process information. Logic takes a backseat. Intuition grabs the wheel. This is great for creativity, therapy and dreams, but terrible for rigid schedules and literal interpretations.

People will talk around things instead of through them. You may feel like you understand something deeply but cannot explain it without sounding unhinged. That is fine. Write it down. Draw it. Let it be weird.

Mercury is so incredibly uncomfortable in Pisces, so it will require some adjustments from us - to listen differently, especially to what is not being said. People won’t say things directly. They’ll circle them, imply them, leak them, deny them and then accidentally confess in a sidebar.

Collectively, this is where the fog thickens around power. We’re watching the geopolitical landscape slide into what many are calling a Third Nuclear Era, not announced with a press release but unfolding through proxy wars, AI-driven weapons systems, cyber sabotage and the quiet normalization of permanent crisis.

Add Mercury in Pisces and suddenly truth becomes slippery on purpose. Messaging gets emotional. Narratives blur. Accountability dissolves just enough for the usual cast of disgusting powerful men(is there any other type of powerful men?) to keep failing upward while insisting nothing is wrong.

Watching the current US administration try to manage optics while scandals metastasize feels exactly like this transit. Everyone knows something is rotten. No one agrees on the official language yet.

February 7–8

Venus Square Uranus

Here, our relationships and things we value get twitchy. This brings sudden shifts. Attractions flare up out of nowhere. Old agreements start itching. Financial surprises. Someone changes their mind without warning, including you. This is classic I did not know I was unhappy until I really, really did.

It is not always destructive, but it is rarely comfortable. Talking to your partner right now might feel as frustrating as eating a hamburger with freshly painted nails. Flexibility matters. Clinging makes it worse.

February 10

Venus Enters Pisces

By February 10, Venus enters Pisces, which softens everything. Exhale! Love gets more compassionate. Boundaries get fuzzier. Idealism returns, for better or worse.

Love gets more porous, more forgiving, more willing to believe in the good even when the evidence is mixed. On a personal level, this can feel like wanting to reach across the divide, apologize first, forgive without keeping score, or fall in love with something simply because it reminds you that beauty still exists.

Globally, Venus in Pisces shows up as a surge of sentiment. Humanitarian language ramps up. Art, music and spiritual narratives get louder as people search for meaning amid ongoing chaos. We see an increase in symbolic gestures, peace rhetoric, emotional appeals and aesthetic distractions. Sometimes this is genuinely healing. Sometimes it’s a very pretty curtain drawn over structural violence.

Both can be true at once.

Give freely if it feels nourishing. Create. Connect. Mourn together. Dream together. But don’t disappear into other people’s pain or promises. Martyrdom is not love, no matter how poetic it sounds in your head or how convincingly the world is selling it right now.

February 13

Saturn Enters Aries

This is a big fucking deal! Saturn crossing into Aries starts a new cycle around leadership, courage and accountability. No more hiding behind masks, process, theory, orders from Stephen Miller or behind good intentions.

Action has consequences again. Initiative matters. So does follow through. This is the hard master who demands that individuals take themselves, their goals and their direction with a level of seriousness that borders on the fanatical.

Globally, this is where conflicts sharpen. Power structures get tested in real time. Authority figures are challenged not with theory but with action. This transit historically correlates with uprisings, militarization, decisive moves and reckless overreaches. It’s where people stop debating whether something is acceptable and start doing something about it, for better or worse. Leadership becomes visible because….
