A Gentle Post-Eclipse Re-calibration & Self-care with a Pinch of Magic
“We are all a little broken, but the cracks are how the light gets in.” - Leonard Cohen
Pisces season arrived like a gentle tide carrying all that super toxic debris collected on the way through the previous astrological year (Pisces oversee the closing of the door before the fiery ram of Aries kick another one down) and what’s supposed to be healing, taking stock, recharging for a new leg of the journey ahead, just.feels.so.maddeningly.exhausting.
Blame astrology, in 25/26 this is a totally valid sentiment. With Mercury (now on top of everything going retrograde) and Venus also in Pisces, Mars soon to join at the beginning of March, we’re being drowned in a soup of heightened sensitivity and intuition and - if you react to the taxing Pisces energy same as me - bone-deep exhaustion!
You’ve heard it before - this is a supreme season for introspection, for connecting with our inner world and for exploring the subtle currents of emotion that flow beneath the surface of our daily lives.
But how, exactly, are we meant to descend into some focused inner excavation when the outer world is busy throwing chairs in a toddler-level tantrum? The old world order is dissolving and not exactly gracefully, dragging us kicking and screaming into a void we don’t yet know how to fill (even if we’re certain it must be filled with something better).
Every headline feels (and is!) apocalyptic, every collective mood swing seeps into our already compromised Piscean boundaries. We’re asked to meditate while the walls are shaking.
And yet, perhaps this is precisely the initiation.

The practice now is not hiding from the chaos but refusing to let it colonize the inner sanctuary. To choose, again and again, what we ingest. To limit the psychic junk food. To sit with our own waters long enough to distinguish intuition from projection, compassion from savior complex, exhaustion from avoidance.
The storm outside may be real, but so is the ocean within. And one of them, at least, is ours to tend.
Instead of trying to outshout the chaos, I invite you to slip beneath it. I will guide you through a gentle Pisces Season meditation designed to soften the nervous system and open the subtle senses.
As our guides, I’ve chosen three potent archetypes from the Tarot: The Moon, The High Priestess and The Hanged Man. Together, they form a map of the Piscean underworld. We’ll talk about their embodied medicine and allow them to take lead in a little journaling ritual.
Finally, an original (ready to print and fill in, stick into your journal.. or make it completely your own) Pisces Season tarot spread to help you translate intuition into grounded insight.

In this meditation, you will journey inward to a place of stillness and peace, where the healing waters of Pisces wash over you. Through breathing, visualization and gentle affirmations, we will align our mind, body and spirit with the Piscean energies of intuition, compassion and artistic flow.
