Finally both of our bikes fixed and on the first day of summer a day long trip west from London. After being slightly dissapointed by the Ditton Park an hour drive from Feltham and not seeing any picturesque lakes or ponds, we decided to do a little bit of breaking and entering thourgh several wired fences into 'The Queen Mother Reservoir' which showed on our maps as a big blue spot which we kept circling.

Only from up there we could see the castle spires not far from us, which to our astonishment turned out to be a Windsor Castle.

We did 50km of steady ride, saw the heathrow planes landing so close they almosted brushed our hair, two rabbits, deers in the Windsor Park and dragonflies.
