This morning I tried to journal about my goals.
But instead I made a to-do list, Googled “is putting salt on slugs ethical?” (because honestly, I can’t! The world’s going to shit, so can I at least grow basil in peace?!), signed up for an online class I’ll definitely forget to attend, and spent 20 minutes arguing with an imaginary critic in my head about whether or not I’m wasting my potential.
