“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” – Charles Darwin
So, in order of importance... How are you doing?
I hope you found time today for a little act of kindness towards others and towards yourself. No matter which candidate you hoped to see elected to lead the worlds largest economy, chances are - due to the highly contentious nature of this whole horror show, your nervous system is lit up right now like an early Christmas tree.
A few days into the historic conclusion of the 2024 US presidential election run, social media, liberal news outlets, and heck, I'm sure your WhatsApp group chats with friends and family are brewing with doomsday outcries. In a big 2016 déjà vu, we experience oversaturation with the same memes from eight years ago—variations on "this is our time to rise" platitudes. I can assure you: when the reactivity simmers down, nobody will rise in other ways than sharing their outrage or inspirational quotes on social media, otherwise going about their daily lives completely unchanged. Inhale, exhale. We have been here before.
As an astrologer and a tarot reader, my mission in life is not predicting the future. I hope this false assumption has been obliterated from public consciousness by now. Rather, it's to offer yet another lens through which we try to understand the chaos of existence (and we can always only try! Anyone who tells you they found a bulletproof way to interpret what the fuck this all means.. run away and run fast!), and above else - in joining the lessons from our history with projections about our future, to OFFER HOPE.
You've heard it on repeat - every few years, some shifts up there in the celestial realm inspire new proclamations about the dawn of the Age of Aquarius. Well, hilariously, this might actually be on the agenda now. With a once-in-a-lifetime WILD ASTROLOGY ahead (looking at you, Pluto in Aquarius trine Uranus in Gemini!), we are truly standing at a nexus point of no return. This is: extraterrestrials landing at the White House lawn, this is Artificial Super Intelligence revealing this all really had been a holographic simulation all along (which more and more scientists and physicists already suspect), this is the cashless society, aging becomes optional, upload your consciousness to the cloud type of shit. 'The world before and the world after internet' type of tipping point. Human society has been irrevocably changed by the internet, and we're now on the cusp of another significant transformation. The astrological alignments of 2025 and 2026 suggest a future that will be almost unrecognizable. (This is not a signal to the doomsday preppers!). Upheaval and radical change do not equal suffering though.
There are times in both our collective and personal histories when the river be running fast and holding too tightly to familiar shores will only tear us apart. The river will take us either way, but those who keep the head above and lean into the stream rather than swim against it, might have an easier journey.
The upcoming rapid and possibly paradigm shifting developments on the worldly stage will not be as glorious as the smug gloating Right leaning media will have you believe, nor as abysmal as the alarmist Left wing media will try to convince you of. Your truth always sits with what's here right now, with every inhale and exhale, within the four walls that contain your physical body at this very moment, in the voice of your loved ones, the familiarity of your daily routines. Your truth does not change with who the majority of Americans voted to see in the White House. I promise you this : right now, this very moment, you have exactly the same amount of power to fight for values you believe in as you had before the election results were called on the 6th of November. The fact the man in power doesn't share your values and ideals does not erase them. Maybe going forward, we'll just need to hold onto them a little bit tighter, seek community of those who affirm and share our dreams, hopes and definitions of just and equal society and invest more time and energy in keeping them alive in face of some likely highly triggering political and societal developments. Remember, when you put a clown in the palace, he does not become a king. Instead, the kingdom becomes a circus. So some wild acrobatics are to be expected.
Instead of getting swept away by currents of hysteria and reactivity, what we can perhaps more effectively do is exploring ways to stop giving our power away. We are only powerless when we accept the false belief that our power can ever be taken away by anything external to ourselves.
There's a potent medicine in remembering that even though media likes to simplify any economic, societal, or political shift for the average consumer as Good vs. Evil, Middle Earth vs. Mordor, West vs. East, Catholic Nationalists vs. Transgender and Immigrant Lobbyists, Blue vs. Red battle, no such binary frame, in fact, exists. Both sides essentially strive for the same thing: a better world. It's just that some believe the way to get there is lined with piles of burning books, limiting free and legitimizing hateful speech, and granting tax reliefs to tech billionaires. Regardless of the looming divides in ideology, we must arrive at the better future together, no party deserves it more than the other. Also, it won't be anyone on the outside of ourselves to carry us there. Certainly not a politician!
This duality, either you're with me or against me, is the real plague of our current times and it is propagated by the ways we share information, which is fundamentally broken. There is one incredibly effective self-care tip I can share with you. It sounds simple (it's not), but I promise you it works every time. Trump's first mandate cost me dearly in mental well-being , and since a majority of Americans believed the world deserved a second ride, in a bid for self-preservation, I adopted a new rule. Before I entertain any kind of debate on current affairs with anyone, I simply inquire about which news outlets, journalists, authors, or public speakers my debate partner follows. If it turns out their concept of politics or world events in general comes from Insta Stories, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube—aka the toilet of the internet—DISENGAGE IMMEDIATELY. As Professor Historian Timothy Snyder reminds us: social media is set up for disinformation. It's not a bug, it's a feature—it's what they are built to do—drive us into emotional states that are anti-democratic and which get us to do things that are not in our own interest.

The Taurus-Scorpio Axis: Seeking Stability Amid Unseen Depths
On November 15, the Full Moon in Taurus—a Supermoon—illuminates the skies, stirring a blend of stability and shockwaves that demand we face both personal and global upheavals with resilience and grace. The cosmic lineup for this period is intense, with Uranus in Taurus, Saturn ending its retrograde in Pisces, and Pluto poised for its final exit from Capricorn, readying itself for a monumental, permanent shift into Aquarius. This Full Moon stands as a moment of reckoning, a time to break down the walls that hold us back, both personally and collectively, even as we face an ever-shifting landscape.
With the Sun in Scorpio opposing the Moon in Taurus, we find ourselves pulled between Taurus’s earthly strength and Scorpio’s penetrating waters. Taurus, the sign of grounded pleasure and rooted resilience, meets Scorpio’s intensity, which reveals our inner fears, traumas, and transformative potential. Taurus guides us to hold firm, to seek tangible comforts and stability, while Scorpio beckons us to explore the shadows and confront what we’d rather ignore.
This particular Taurus Moon feels anything but the usual indulgent and soft; it’s infused with Uranian energy, setting the tone for an unpredictable mid-November. Uranus, the planet of revolution, challenges Taurus’s stability, signaling a period where long-standing foundations—whether personal, financial, or societal—will be shaken. This feels so explosive, I would honestly not be shocked if a previously unknown super volcano makes itself known (Taurus is fixed Earth). We could witness sudden shifts on a global scale, such as unexpected turns in ongoing conflicts, shifts in the economy, or significant events in financial markets. This aspect could see geopolitical tensions escalate, particularly in areas where conflict already looms large.
On an individual level, Uranus in Taurus encourages breakthrough moments and realizations that, while sudden, have been building for some time. Expect “aha” moments that redefine your values, especially concerning money, resources, and personal security. Changes in relationships, finances, or living arrangements may arise unexpectedly, urging us to find stability within while the external world rearranges itself. Yay. Inhale, exhale.
Pluto in Capricorn and the Imminent Shift to Aquarius: The Last Stand of Tyranny and Rise of Revolutionary Thought
Pluto, the planet of transformation and power, is finishing its lengthy journey through Capricorn, a transit that has systematically dismantled old structures and eroded trust in institutions since 2008. Its final return to Aquarius in late November heralds one of the most anticipated transits of our lifetimes, marking an era that challenges authoritarianism and ushers in revolutionary changes in social systems, technology, and human rights. Something tells me we have some profound revelations yet to uncover in what we considered to be democratic elections...just saying...
Historically, Pluto in Aquarius has accompanied radical social upheaval. The French and American revolutions, which reshaped societies from monarchy to more democratic ideals, occurred under this transit. As Pluto transitions from Capricorn’s control structures to Aquarius’s humanitarian focus, we may see a similar shift toward empowering the collective and challenging centralized power, especially in realms like technology and scientific advancements.
As Pluto fully settles in Aquarius, the next 18 years are likely to highlight not only technological breakthroughs but also increased scrutiny of tech giants, scientific ethics, and societal equality. Bye, Elon.
