In the week that opens with gaslighting masterclass, a quiet Wednesday that just might save your life and sounds off with final roar of Leo
So, like, no biggie, but stripped of all the little side quests and the wild up and downs through confusing Neptunean mists that are as thick as porridge, this week’s astrology wants to know just one thing:
What in your life is actually real?
This is not about what your life will eventually become when you tick your way off to the bottom of your to-do list, when you climb over that last career step or when your soulmate finally lands in the place next to you in bed and inside your heart that you keep trying to fill.
This is not about the theater performance of being a functioning adult, but - following the last week’s eclipse, we get confronted with what actually remains when the smoke clears, the ashes fall and you’re left with an empty page waiting to be filled with a new, more authentic story of you.
Monday is a bag of dog shit. A bag of dog shit that’s set on fire. Mars doing things with Neptune. A mess of frustration, gaslighting, conspiracy loops, toxic media echo chambers you didn’t know you still had a place in. And then an occasional spark of genuine inspiration and connection in sextile between Venus and Jupiter. Psychotic!
By Tuesday, Scorpio moon sucker punch you back to reality. Scoprio, of course, is not interested in the polite, in the surface level, in the comfortable excuses..instead, it’s an unflattering mirror to who we actually are, now that the eclipse burned the extra fakey bits off.
But alas! Wednesday gives us a glorious nothing. Nothing groun breaking happens up above, which honestly feels like a fucking miracle lately, and gods willing this is exactly what gets reflected in the down below!
Thursday eases the collective back into the evolutionary test by providing some room to breathe and a perspective that’s interested in the bigger picture, because on Friday, the red unpaid bills envelope arrives in the mailbox of our relationships and in the uncomfortable process of unsealing it, we’ll face up to what we’re giving against what we’re actually getting back.
Saturday pulls the curtains on Leo season with exactly the dramatic flair it deserves, before Sunday’s Sun slumping with exhausted exhale into Virgo - a start of a season with rolled up sleeves, ready to get serious again and fix everything and everyone in sight.

Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12th opened a roughly two weeks long corridor from a burning stage to dissolving waters of Pisces lunar eclipse.
Leo will crack us open. What feels like an eclipse wound will unstitch itself and Pisces healing waters will wash away the infection within. That’s the corridor. That is the whole ride.
Right on the eclipse or in its aftermath, step in at any point. Together, we get to walk it in the dark and it won’t be quiet. Think of my latest GUIDED MEDITATION JOURNEY as my extended hand. Someone gently grabbing and squeezing your hand - not to guide you out of the dark, but to let you know that you’re not here alone.

Mars square Neptune, Jupiter sextile Venus
Aaand once again, two transits that has absolutely nothing in common will land on the same day this August 17th, totally a Leo move..pile it up baby and watch the spectacle unfold.
I’m talking about Mars-Neptune square hitting at the same time as Venus-Jupiter sextile. You probably can see the dissonance straight away.
Mars in Cancer squaring off with Neptune Retrograde in Aries seems a bit like a natural follow up to that eclipse implosion a few days back, it’s both raw, angry & uncomfortably aggressive…and just plain exhausted, confuzzled, psychotic even.
This is a gaslighting galore, this is being unreasonably worked up over what’s clearly a propaganda, clearly a conspiracy horseshit. You already know that Mars puts fire under our ass, it’s act first and think second (or never) but in Cancer there’s too much feels to really give in to the fire of now.
What Neptune brings to the table is everyone’s 2026 fav modality of moving through life - a bone-deep decision fatigue & just pure fiction dressed up as facts. We might find ourselves saying the thing, even if it’s just through a message. Thinking you are standing your ground and then immediately realizing you have just irreparably hurt someone you love to prove a point that was not necessary to make.
My only word of advice would be…don’t trust your inner voice today, especially if it’s really convincingly urging you to act with passion and resolve. Just do yourself a favor and leave the big decisions on someone else, sometimes later, not today, okay? Your system (and our systems at large) are running on communication noise and a reality distortion fumes and even if it seems like we know exactly where and why we’re going right now, this might very quick turn out to be a wall or a ditch that’s gonna prove very fucking hard to dig yourself out of. Just sayin’ !
Re-adjust your lenses instead to look for the honey-flavored energy of Venus and Jupiter sextile that happens around the same time.
Venus is currently extremely content in Libra and so is Jupiter in Leo and together they will attempt to wash your Mars-Neptune blind red mist anger with some little blessings of gentle moments and genuine connections (even if it’s just a smile from an elderly lady in an infuriatingly slow moving supermarket queue).
Or maybe nature pulls a quiet trick on you. The late sun catches your cat’s eye at just the right angle and suddenly there’s an entire galaxy sitting on your rug. Or maybe a moth lands on your shoe and allows you to inspect its intricate wings pattern and sketch it out in your notebook. Maybe that pattern will inspire a logo for your new Substack writing project.
A small but powerful wink from the above. Don’t miss it!

Moon in Scorpio square Pluto in Aquarius, Moon in Scorpio trine Mars in Cancer
I have a specific memory of being about eleven years old and finding my older cousin’s diary in a shoebox under her bed..
