Oh. Wow. Are you okay? Can you still stand? We have been through it. I won’t even start going into the whole global mess of a year that 2022 is shaping up to be (and we’re still only a half way through!), which seems to have been ramping up the intensity with every passing month, but with the world both literally and metaphorically on fire, and a super sensitive emo roller-coaster of a Cancer Season just concluding…how are you, little one?
If there’s some takeaway from these tumultuous past few weeks of inner excavation and facing up to the deep invitations for acknowledging, healing & shedding some pretty tough emotional baggage, it’s the knowing that no matter how intense and all over the place, our emotions are valid and powerful. And diving deep into the discomfort of Cancer waters: allowing for insecurities & past wounds to bubble up, and hearing our brain’s invitation to participate in all kinds of false stories and limiting beliefs – and emerging on the other side of the lake still alive, is a profound medicine for our soul’s growth.
So, maybe…just maybe we can rest for a bit and celebrate. We have emerged on the shores of the Leo Season. Here, we’ll be taking what’s been illuminated under Cancer’s Sun and transmuting it into a new fabulous outfit and makeup which is both authentic and uniquely ours, wearing all of those scars proudly like a badge of honor, like a tribal tattoo affirming our past battles were real and we came out victorious.
Eager for action and driven by an unquenchable thirst for love, adventure and…yes, attention! Leo energy is immensely passionate, loudly ambitious, boldly creative. It invites us to feed our confidence, unapologetic bravery and acting fiercely from our heart-space, in order to show up in the world as we are. Assisting us in feeling secure to step into the world as the person we’ve always wanted to be – and to celebrate life with our loved ones.

The secret to Leo’s radiant & joyful energy IS NOT being deluded to the point of thinking they’re some sort of superstars(although we are), rather it comes from continually braving being VULNERABLE. When we show up as we are, when we become our own cheerleaders, when we dare to speak out loud about our true passion & dreams, our boldest plans, the things we love about ourselves or about others – we necessarily expose ourselves to the scrutiny & criticism of others. Fiery Leo, even if at times quite hard to comprehend over all the roaring, always feels & acts through his heart. Use the energy of this season to expose your heart by being AUTHENTIC – dare to be questioned, dare to be wrong & to fail at times – fortune favors the brave! Only by working on aligning ourselves with our true –flawed & fabulous – selves, we attract the best tribe to cheer us on, we tap into our inner light, we shake our mane in a slow-mo & the rest of the jungle swoons.
We walk the Earth joyfully, with grace & humor, confidence & profound love for self, others and life. To allow ourselves the luxury of happiness is scary. But in Leo energy, we say fuck it & fuck all that seeks to prove me wrong – it’s still worth it.
